Drones in Agriculture
The agricultural sector in particular is very vulnerable to natural hazards and disasters. Over the years, the agriculture industry has been facing avoidable economic damages due to climate related disasters all because farmers do not have the right tools to plan ahead before a potential climate related disaster affects their yield.
As reported by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, a total of $40 billion agriculture economic loss was reported due to the climate and weather-related disasters.
With solutions by IRGA, very soon, stakeholders and farmers will be able to strategise and plan ahead, stay informed and monitor their farms before a natural disaster occurs; saving them months of hard labour, time, cost and profits. With better data, farmers can now have predictive analysis which mitigate high losses.
