KUALA LUMPUR, 1st March 2024 - Agritech solutions developer IRGA officially opened its Agritech Experience Centre (AEC) in Bandar Pinggiran Subang, Shah Alam on the 23rd of February.
The AEC is intended to serve as a point of contact for clients in the agribusiness sector to receive first-hand experience of the agricultural technology software and hardware solutions that the company has been developing.
Leveraging on technologies within the space of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Vision, and Business Analytics, IRGA is developing a complete ecosystem of solutions to boost operational efficiency and productivity on plantation and farming operations. With the support of its manufacturing partner KINGOYA Enterprise, a leading developer of plantations agritools and equipment, the company aims to deliver technologically advanced digital and mechanised solutions that effectively resolve ground level challenges in the industry.
Among some of the key products that will be on display at the AEC will be the ECUT ACE, the company’s precision electrical harvesting cutter and the EVAC 180, its ESG-friendly motorised wheelbarrow. It will also be showcasing its Digital Plantations Management system, iPLANT, demonstrating its various features and how the technology will be used to improve operational efficiency on plantations. Also forming part of the AEC’s product showcase will be the range of solutions that the company currently has in development, which includes the URBi controlled-environment urban farming system.
The URBi is part of IRGA’s Smart Digital Farming initiative, which it has been developing to provide high-quality agricultural produce to clients in the urban sector. Utilising a combination of IoT technologies and data analytics software which improves crop cultivation and quality, these solutions are intended to provide urban consumers with access to a steady and reliable supple of agricultural goods.
