IRGA and 27 Advisory Consolidate to Deliver Plantation Transformation Services to Clients in the Agricultural Sector
Malaysian Agritech Company IRGA completes reverse acquisition of 27 Advisory and 27 Projects
KUALA LUMPUR, 17th August, 2023 - IRGA Sdn Bhd, an agribusiness consultancy and agritech solutions provider, recently announced plans to engage in a consolidaton exercise with 27 Group, a business consultancy with expertise in project management and strategic business planning for the built environment sector.
The consolidation exercise will see IRGA (which is owned in part by 27 Group's digital innovations division, 27 Digital) wholly acquiring 27 Advisory and 27 Projects. As part of the exercise, 27 Advisory and 27 Projects will consolidated under IRGA and a Board of Directors will be appointed to oversee the broadened company. Girish Ramachandran, founder and director of 27 Group will be taking on the additonal wider role as Group CEO and IRGA will remain as the single largest shareholder of the company.
IRGA will be leveraging on the reserach, analytics, and project planning strenghts of 27 Advisory and 27 Projects to provide consultancy services to clients which are rooted in well reserached data points and strategic planning capabilities. IRGA will also be utilising the company's data gathering resources to improve its product innovation and technological development capabilities.
Among the key service offerings that IRGA will provide include to clients are Plantation Transformation and Food Security Advisory. In line with these services, IRGA will support clients in the delivery of a comprehensive plantation transformation strategy which will aim to add value across the client's agribusienss value chain through the implementation of targeted solutions and operational improvements. Clients will also receive the benefit of consultation services geared towards improving their capacity to meet global food security needs.
The four-stage transformation approach, consisting of diagnosis, ideation, transformation, and sustainability, will support clients in identifying areas within their operations which be improved upon and implementing effective solutions accordingly. Such improvements may come in the form of the infusion of tehcnology driven solutions, changes to operational processes, as well as the adoption of innovative techniques which can boost overall plantation performance.
IRGA aims to offer end-to-end competencies in the agritech sector ranging across the board from its advisory service to its product development and agritech service capacities. It's partnership with Kingoya Enterprise, an internationally recognised agritools manufacturer, allows the company to produce custom built agritech solutions which leverage on 4IR compatible technologies that boost agricultural efficiency and productivity in plantations and farming operations.
The move will allow IRGA to better position itslef as an agricultural technologies enabler that services the needs of industry players both here in Malaysia as well as regionally, providing technology driven solutions to clients which improve industry practices through sustianable methods and industry best practices. The company also aims to offer its services to clients within the ASEAN region, with plans to reach the global marketplace in due course.
The consolidation exercise was officially signed by both parties in January 2023 and was completed in July 2023.
